WB. is a really LAZY record company in my opinion. They ruined Van Halen by not promoting VH3. That is why NO fucking radio stations played it. VH3 did not have a fucking chance in hell of making it! WB better be behind this reunion and promote the hell out of it otherwise VH is gonna bomb once again. If I were Eddie Van Halen I would take the band to a different record company TODAY!!!! WB is truely a horrible record company. And it makes me fucking sick that they don't support VH after all the fucking money they made them. I mean, isn't Van Halen their all time record selling band?Peace out.

Staying on the topic of WB-It was because of hassles with the company that Prince changed to his symbol thing, and once appeared in public with the word "slave" on his face, all because of WB. However, you can expect a major push if when the new VH record comes out. They'd be idiots not to.

I think it's time for the boys to switch over to Sony. John Kalodner would push the hell out of them.

Madden you must have a short memory.
Warner Brothers did support "3". I remember a live world premiere of the disc.
I remember Mtv's Matt Pinfield doing a 30 or 60 minute preview show about the upcoming disc.
How about the 10spot thing on Mtv.
I am sure WB's had to pull a few strings and spend some cash for those 3 events.
I remember seeing a commercial for "3" running on Mtv and E Entertainment Television.
WB's supported the album in the beginning, but when the "fire" didn't catch on, they did the right thing, they let it die.
It's like having an '81 Escort that's full of rust and it needs a new motor and transmission. Why fix it, send it to the junk yard.
I don't think any type of promotion could have saved "3" It's an eclectic piece that will interest a few, pacify some and piss the rest of the world off.

I remember seeing "Without You" on MTV once, and never saw "Fire In The Hole" air. And then "Once" never got broadcast either.

You didn't hear much off of "3" because there isn't much of "3" that's "radio friendly"
It realled needed "that's why I love you."
Would that single have made "3" a double platnium album? No, but I think it would have helped sales some.

WB also got "Fire In The Hole" into "Lethal Weapon 4".
They certainly gave it the best chance it could to make it. People did not want another new VH.
