DID ANYONE EVER HEAR A HIP HOP VERSION OF "JUMP" BY SOME GROUP THE BUS STOP BOYS?

I was at the gym last week, and all of a sudden i hear the opening keyboard of JUMP. Then it turns into some dance hip hop track!
The chorus is like "JUMP! EVERYBODY JUMP!"
one of the lines in the song is even "We're bringin back Van Halens Jump track!"
I almost fell off the treadmill!
I was like "WHAT THE FUCK????" [img]smilies/confused.gif[/img]
I asked the girl behind the desk to let me see the disc she put on. It turns out it was this song called JUMP by a group called the "Bus Stop Boys".

No, but I heard about a strange cd that came out about a year ago. It was supposed to be a Van Halen tribute cd, but they were all supposed to be set up and played as dance tunes so that could be a song off that cd.
I can't remember what it was called though.

its the pet shop boys and that came out awhile ago....its not rap just a dance/techno song. it does suck though.

tribb, that one was called 'Eruption' and I think it was Cabo Kid who'd heard it and said it sucked...I may be wrong on who heard it, but that is the title...I saw it at my record store...

I'm afraid I can confirm that this travesty actually fuckin' occurred.

It is an absolute nightmare of a novelty/boyband/rap tune. [img]smilies/mad.gif[/img]

The band is called "Bus Stop" (at least in the UK) and they massacred several songs from the late 70s/ early 80s in a no-soul-boyband-cheese way.

They really sucked bad. Real bad. If I hear any of their tunes starting up I hit the radio dial SO fast I nearly get burns.

They sucked the life out of "Kung Foo Fighting" and "You ain't seen nothing yet" too (not that I liked either of those songs to begin with). They should be deported and have their tongues cut out.
