NAMM '02

Well today we had to get our company's booth set up for NAMM and I decided to locate Peavey's booth. It was in the same location as last years and I talked to their TradeShow Manger about their events. Ed will not be there and she said there is just talk of another video like last year. Yamaha is once again in the hotel's conference center instead of the convention center so I didn't make it over there. Also, there were no signs of new Wolfgangs or amps from Peavey. I'm going again on Saturday so I'll have an update that night.

I wonder, in "part duex" of Ed's NAMM video, will he reveal the new line of "Woflgang Custom Paper Towel Holders"?

I was hoping this year they'd release the Wolfgang Custom Toilet Paper Holders... given the last year we need a whole lotta butt-wipe with all the crap thats been going on...

I was thinking today about Mike at the NAMM and wondering what I'd ask him if I saw him there.

Well, I might ask him the obvious question...

OR I might try to ask him some other questions he might be willing to discuss more at length. Something like

"How did you all feel when you walked out of the studio after MWM was completed? Did you all feel satisfied and excited about it's sound and potential or was this just a couple filler tracks?"

"Did you ever consider having Gary perform these on the '3' tour?" (thank God they didn't do them!)

I've always wondered what their thoughts were about that music specifically...not so much in regard to DLR's specific parts, but more from a musical standpoint.

Hey, you never know. I might be a question like this that would make him sit down and feel more at ease instead of him expecting the "usual" ?'s.
