If Sammy source is true, would the band bring the red rocker back?

If the sammy comments end up being true, would vh bring him back. It makes sense, first of all if it didn't work with dave, which i believe the band tried to reunite again for the fans one last time and didn't work, sammy is the obvious choice, they bombed with cherone and i don't think they r looking for another singer, which means dave or sammy and if dave is out, sammy should be brought back, cuz eddie owes to him for kicking him out, whether u loved vanhagar or not, u have to respect what vh did with him and he would be the most logical choice if it comes to pass that dave is out

if what sam said was true including dave and thew band finishing four songs...put out a dave era box set including the four new songs and retire. go out as van halen was meant to be!

Yes, it's conceivable, but unlikely.

You don't hear Gary talking about VH (other than for that interview on the radio), and he left under much better circumstances than Sammy.

Sammy will be back in VH someday, he is far and away the best fit and is most like Mike ,Eddie, and Alex in the respect that he is a natural musician, he has a wife and kids, he can play guitar. Roth is very far removed from those guys in his life style and he can't seem to make any transition to what he was in the early 80's to what he is now. Sammy seems to still have a some creative juices left. I beleive the only other choice is for VH to get a No-name young guy who sounds like Roth and has a great stage presence. I know you guys are going to tell me they did that with Gary, but we all knew Gary was not the right guy on many levels for VH. Gary has a great voice and did work his ass of on stage, it's to bad the VH3 CD was just not what the fans wanted.

If it takes this long to iron out the problems with Dave, there's every reason to think it would take just as long to iron out the problems with Sammy.

Hopefully all the chairs on Planet Van Halen are comfortable.

Why?

First of all who knows the circumstances of which Gary left.
Second, Sammy was in VH for 11 years, not two.
Third, Sammy brought alot of his "people" with him when he joined. Some of which I'm certain are still there.
Forth, Sammy is a good guy who I'm sure people in the VH camp talk to him on a regular basis.

And how can you say Gary didn't leave under better conditons? It's plain as day.

Dave leaves = Fight. in both 85 AND 96.

Sammy leaves = Fight. Pretty nasty, in and of itself.

Gary leaves = No fight. No bad-mouthing - from either side!

And who's left in the VH camp that's pals with Sammy?

I'm starting to come back around to my original opinion about this whole thing...JUST LET MIKE SING! If things are not working out with Sam or Dave just go as a three piece band. Maybe this is just me getting impatient here or something, but I'm just getting sick of the whole thing. We want music.
