Anyway, some Sammy fan called into the Opie and Anthony radio show, saying how he went to see Sam and Dave and how awful Dave was. No range, Blue leather jumpsuit, blah, blah, blah.

Opie said he blames VH for the popularity of "The drum solo" and how he hates them(drum solo's).

Anthony remarks that, "Maybe it's time for Dave to hang it up". He also went on to say that he went to see Dave post VH and Dave did a bad version of "Jump". He said he was trying to sing it like Sam would but just didn't have the chops.

Anthony also said people only went to see Dave era VH for Eddie.

They said they were going to read a review of the Sam and Dave tour....said it's really funny.

Now remember.....THEY said this....NOT ME

Drum solos do suck. So do bass solos.

But really, those guys were just saying what half the posters here have already said.
Dave's voice is gone, cracking on his outfits, etc.

dude Sammy was on their show a couple of years ago and they became buddy buddy, so this doesn't surprse me. But when they had the dump music, music they played when their dump time ran out, they's play AIn't talkin bout love.
