if a reunion happens with "the other guy", what will you do?

by now- most of the posters (and i said MOST!) have declared themselves a member of either the pro-sam or pro-dave camps... and yes- some are still undecided- i know...

so if VH does, through some miracle, come out and renuite with the "other guy" (i'm a roth fan- so that would mean a sam/VH reunion for me) -

would you stop listening to VH and resign as a fan?

or would you give it an honest try?

or would you just buy it, listen a 1000X's and put up with it even though it isn't what you wanted?

or will you come here and start sam vs. dave debate threads to release your frustration until your keyboard melts?

make sure you note your singer preference...

those who like "both" equally, or want just "anybody" for VH's next singer - not sure your opinion would add much here... [img]graemlins/bounce.gif[/img]

I prefer Sam, but I do think Dave could do the job in the studio. I don't think he could cut it on tour, though. Also, I just think there's so much animosity between Dave and the others that it would be destined to fail and we would all be back to square one. I like alot of ideas from both camps on this board (the objective ones, that is), but overall, I think Sammy would contribute more in the studio and live. I hope something happens because the state of true Rock is in bad shape right now. We all bore witness to that @ the VMA's last week. Let's also not forget about Ed's health. Do we really know if he's alright. There are so many factors, and I'm glad to see a good thread addressing them [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
Forgot to add that I would buy the album & see the tour either way. I just hope its Sam.

Its Dave or nothin here. The Sammy thing died with me after OU812. That album was too mainstream and songs made with "radio airplay" in mind. I also like Daves solo lyrics. Yeah there corny as shit. I dont need to find a message in every song.
