For those who think Van Halen was behind the MTV thing?

The suggestion that VH was somehow behind the MTV thing is beyond ridicules.

We have to stop looking around every corner and under every rock for some hidden messages from MTV or Brad or anybody.

It may not be the most exciting way to make an announcement but I can guarantee When the time is right VH will do it the way they have done it EVERY SINGLE TIME Before. Through a press release.

They never did it that way buddy. Sammy was announced at Farm Aid, Dave was announced back on the MTV VMA's 1996, and Gary was announced on the MTV interview.

Yep VH isn't the type of band to just release a single and that's it....ESPECIALLY with Dave at the helm!!!! When they come back they will do it in pure VH style and it will rock our socks off!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah Glenn, don't you just hate it when that happens. I mean you got a glass half full, you reach down to get a drink, and some knuckle head kicks it over. LOL. Although, it is kind of a stretch to think Van Halen would try this. Shit good idea though. Out.

They all released press statements before any announcements were made. Sammy was announced BEFORE farm aid. Dave was never officially announced to be back in VH. And The Gary/MTV interview was post the official press release. Sorry buddy.

You may have first heard that sammy was in at Farm aid and you may have first heard that Gary was in on MTV but the official word came earlier.
