Show your support for VH action figures!

Got this in the "mail" a couple of days ago. Looks like the ball may be rolling, so help out by showing your support.


Hi there...

A while back you had signed up to our Edward Van Halen Action Figure
Petition at the Unchained World website.

We now have well over 300 people signed up.
This month, the International toy magazine, Toyfare, did a snippet on our
efforts in their magazine.

Anyway, we are making some good progress on this, but we still need to
persuade McFarlane to do it.
Please, tell your buddies and friends about this. Even if they are not quite
the calibre of Fans that we are, ANY and ALL support is crucial.
Direct them to Unchained World and have them sign the petition as you did,
and also direct them to the EVH Thread at the Spawn Message board:

Ya, but if you think about it this way, there might be an angle here.

We get enough people to sign this petition, so the manufacturer ends up actually producing the "Eddie" Action figure. At first sales don't go that well, so their marketing dept. tries to figure out "why not"? Well of course the answer is right there in front of their faces! Every good action figure need's an arch nemesis! So the next day, off the assembly line comes the new "Diamond Dave Atomic Punk" action figure! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

By Christmas of this year, this will be the hottest selling toy line since Furby madness a few years ago! [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

Oh, so what's the "angle" I alluded to? After the success of their action figures, they'll see so many children who enjoy playing with their Ed & Dave action figures, that they'll both realize how fuckin' "childish" they've been themselves, that they'll kiss and make up, get back in the studio, and live happily ever after. The girl who lives across the hall from me has these posable action figures of Scully and Mulder. They are so CUTE!!

couple questions

Will the Dave doll be the young spandex clad Dave, or the now older, not as flexible and balding Dave?

Will Alex come with removable neck brace?

Will Gary come with that one shine suit he owned?

Can Eddie come with a hair kit, so I can have short hair goatie Eddie or long hair Eddie. Much like the baby dolls that wet themselves, can Eddie come real cigerette smoking action?

These are important questions to me as a consumer.
