GEEZ! It's amazing how we (particularly in the US & Canada) are just soo freakin' obsessed with celebrities. We wanna know who they're f#@king when they shit and what kind of toilet paper they wipe their ass' with. I thought we Van Halen fans were different but apparently not. I can't believe how people are now dumping on Val like she has done something wrong. She may or may not be seeing this dude, but who the f#@k cares? She's probably trying to get on with her life. Is there something wrong with that? For Ed's part, I'm sure he's no angel either. I wouldn't surprise me if he's bagged a few chicks on the side, since being married to Val. But again, who cares? Edward Van Halen is probably one of the greatest guitarist ever, he may not have been the greatest husband but it doesn't change the way I feel 'bout him as a guitar player. Why can't people just be content to like athletes, actors or rock stars for what they do in their respective fields and leave it at that. Why do so many hold these celebrities to such high standards then get all bent outta shape when they do something wrong. I hear all this stuff how these celebs are role models for our kids. BULLSHIT! The best role model for your kids is you. At least you can control with how you conduct yourself. Grow up people! Aside from the money & fame, they're just like us.
