always seem to find a way to shoot down our rumors while we are just regaining our feet back under us. i say fuck brad!! we know from other examples at the dome that he don't know much. how can he come HERE(okay i know HE didn't come here,but it's not like he didn't know what would happen) and fuck with our hopes again. i stand by my therory at the dome that brad gets off on messing with our minds. so i send a big FUCK YOU out to brad and i won't even believe you if you came out with something that's actually good news, why? because it's not from THE BAND, no matter how hard he tries he can't be the 4th lead singer. if i were you i wouldn't get all bummed about the mail we saw, take it like everything else on here.

I am thinkg that 2002 will be another dry year for Van Halen (that band we used to know) !

As far as Brad goes, cant blame him for shooting down rumours. Too bad the band cant tell us themselves.

We just have to come to expect nothing from Van Halen. Too bad for us.

I really think either Eddie is sick or the band is just not doing anything at all and don't care about the band anymore. Dave is clearly doing his thing, I guess. And Eddie is probably not completely well, or Gene wouldn't say, "Let's all have a prayer for him."

Anyway, I'm sick of not knowing and I guess it's time to finally stop caring so much about this band.

Grant, could you explain what makes u think that VH will be silent for the whole of 2002?

One thing I don't understand is that it would be so easy for WB to release an album of B-sides/hits with the 3 new songs. It wouldn't require any further recording/touring and would sell millions.
I actually doubt they won't put pressure on the band to do that if they're not releasing a new album. In any record contract, a band has to release a certain number of albums iwthin a certain time.

Yeah, Gilmour put out 2 whole shitty studio albums and god knows how many shitty live albums after they broke up. (Not that any of that crap was actually Pink Floyd)

But then, Eddie put out 5 studio albums after Van Halen broke up, so I guess that's the same thing.
