Official MTV Birthday Bash Thread

So far I've seen Extreme's "More Than Words" and a DLR clip of him saying "it doesn't matter if you win or lose, it's how you look doing it..." Anyone see anything else cool? I feel so bad watching MTV, but there are a lot of interesting clips going through here. I am doubting the VH thing on the Live show tonight, though. Oh well...

I am going to it tonight. There is no mention, whisper, or word of VH being there. There will be a couple of satelite feeds of artists and live performances which include Aerosmith, Billy Idol,RUN-DMC, Huey Lewis and the News, and others. All the VJ's, past and present will be there, but it will be hosted by the original five VJ's. If some miraculous secret is unveiled and they do appear, I will give you all the details as always.

MTV will be running 12 hours of videos in celebration. I have already seen "Jump", "Hot For Teacher", and "Right Now." As for the employees? A few get to go to the celebration but everyone else gets all they can eat of free Krispy Kream donuts. Don't know how this is fair but they do things like that here.

My buddy called me at work today to say one of the rock stations in Milwaukee was telling folks to watch the awards tonight as they said a reunited VH may take the stage to play a tune.

They may have gotten this news from the rumor pile, then again, they may have a good source....
