I'm not sure if any of you have come across this little snippet of Sammy's unpublished biography or not(I searched the forum archives and found one short thread from almost two years ago)but Ray Danniels is(or supposedly is) such a scumbag that he even talked shit about Geddy Lee behind his back, no wonder Sammy hated Danniels so much.

I am the most chill dude ever.. But if I ever where to come across Ray Daniels in my travels, I would open a can of whoop ass on him. The way he manipulated the VH brothers and abused his power. Man, I'd love to wail on his ass with a sock full of pennies...

Really, who cares? Being a rock manager must be a major pain in the ass, dealing with a group of egomaniac musicians who are no doubt fueled and affected by many forces. I bet every manager has badmouthed his/her client at some point. Whether it's to blow off steam or to further another deal, it probably happens all the time. That's a high stakes business, if you've got one shot to land a major act, you're going to say whatever it takes to win them over.

Plus, does it ring a bit hollow with anyone else that Sammy is bothered by someone else's shit talking?

I think Geddy was a great singer when they were more hard rock and before they changed their style. Now it sounds like he doesnt really give it all he's got. Rush is a great band though.
