Running With The Devil--BOV1

I'm curious. I have an issue of the Best of Vol.1 CD. It has a version of Runnin With the Devil where two verses were switched around. I knew this right away when I bought it and thought, "cool." I bought it the day it came out and after I listened to it (a lot) I wondered if this was something special. I never pursued any investigating. My wife took it out and was listening to it the other day and I began to think about it again. This forum was not available to me when I was origianally curios. Could it be considered a collectable item? Anybody else have a copy like this? Is it very rare?

Either way, I don't care, it would just satisfy a long curiosity.

When they were re-doing it for the Best Of, some master tapes got switched by accident and the last 2 verses are turned around. It was corrected in later pressings of the CD.

I have that version. It's kind of cool to have it, though I doubt it's worth any more than the fixed version of the song.

Considering that, what, 2 million albums were sold, I'd say easily 750,000 of which had the flipped verses... nah, ain't worth jack. But it is something neat to have, if for no reason other than it would have been some of that "box set" stuff Glenn always begs for.
