BUT

back in the day they were known to drink and do blow so the drink has to have a pick me up in it as well as alcohol.

1oz-Tequila
Fill with a strong coffee(or capacino)
top it with cream!

Back in the early days of VH, me and some of my friends kept seeing pictures of Eddie and Alex, mainly Alex, drinking Schlitz Malt Liquor. Wanting to be like VH, we bought some. The stuff actually went down pretty smooth but we paid for it the next day. Wicked hangover.

Nowadays I'll just stick to my Miller Lite, or a reasonable facsimile thereof.

There is a bar in New Orleans called Maries Laveau' House of Voodoo that serves a Van Halen Special containing 1 part vodka, 1 part dark rum, 1 part Amaretto, and 1 part Kahlua over ice topped with milk and shaken.....
