Old VH footage on MTV

I did not know if this has been discussed yet or not, so i will post it here. MTV had a special on yesterday about old contests and you guessed it, they showed the lost weekend with Van Halen. It did not last long, but some of the footage was unbelievable! I guess a camera followed the winner around for the whole time, and it looked like complete mayhem! I'll bet they filmed the whole show, or most of it and it is pro shot! There is probobly a lot of stuff on there that will never see the light of day. Oh well. More than likely this will air again. Definately worth the watch.

I have that on VHS; I taped it from MTV back in 1984. I watched it a few weeks ago.

Is the "lost weekend" referrd to different from the Cabo Wabo one with Sammy. I have the lost weekend one at Cabo with Sam but didn't know there was one with Dave in 84?
