As much as i'd love nothing more than to see the original VH back together. It bums me out to think that VH's response to Dave's message will be along the lines of...

Yes, it is true we worked with David Lee Roth for a few months in 2000. We were reminded of why we parted ways, again. Thus we have begun collaborating with Sammy Hagar, again.

I dont know i just got a gut feeling. And i really don't wanna see another Hagar/VH album. The world just doesn't need it. But hey same can be said for a lot of the music that's coming out these days....

If Roth does come back, to me it is great, but I'm going to cry over it if he doesn't. Sammy would be the only other option is Dave was not back in the fold.

I have not really sensed a huge outcry for Roth to be back anyway. If there was, VHIII should have been boycotted by the 500,000 schmucks that bought it. I still have not heard it or bought it, and will not buy another until Roth or Hagar are back.

I'd definitely cry if they've been working with Sammy again instead of Dave. Give the people what they want. Van Hagar's record sales got progressively worse with each one. People want a reunion. I wouldn't mind if it's a one-shot deal or not. I wanna see Classic VH back.
