Four days til 9-18-00. The zillionth countdown is on. Will we hear something from the band?

I'm starting to believe there is more evidence for the existence of god than there is of Van Halen and David Lee Roth creating new music together.

And I'm a die hard atheist.

We have to hear something from them Monday or Tuesday. Don't we? Something.

How is it that we're only 5 days away from them putting the remasters on sale and yet I go to the record store and there's no promotion or anything? Shouldn't they be beating the drum about this?

I was wondering the same thing myself, Glenn. I haven't heard of any kind of promotion at all except on the official VH site.

I have started hoping that a re-uniting of Dave with VH will be announced on monday and that would serve as the promotion! If that's the case, it's all the promotion they will need!

DropDeadLegs: 9-18-00 is the day that Van Halen announces the winner of the Remastered Cds. I would think that somehow someway they will publicize this, other than on VH.com.

That is, IF they want the CDs to sell at all.
If not, if VH and Warner Bros. don't care if they sell, then VH can just announce the winner on the website and all will be quiet, including record sales of the Remasters.

Cause most fans don't know they (the newly remastered cds, Dave being back in VH) exist.

We should hear SOMETHING by Monday, or Tuesday. I hope.

I think nothing is going to happen on monday. It will just be another day of waiting. I have not yet seen nor heard about remasterd cds other than the web site. So I hope everything goes well with the remasterd cds. I hope they kind of sell good.

Yeah RIGHT... you have to believe everyone and their brother (or sister) that even remotely frequents this site or the VHND has entered in there, meaning the chances of any one of us picking those up are slim with a capital S.

Too bad, I wouldn't mind getting the remasters that way
