Has anyone else put in a pre-order for the VH remasters?

If so, which one(s) did you order? I just put in a pre-order at CDNOW the other night for my remastered copy of Fair Warning.

I'm just going to walk over to the store and buy them all the day they go on sale.

I'll definitly be getting the Fair Warning remaster as well. Not sure if I'll buy all of them, maybe. Depends on how much difference in sound there is.

Actually, these remasters are a good thing since a couple of mine have little scratches and regular wear and tear. And I guess they'll hold me off for a short time...

I will get a couple of them fair warning and Van Halen I for right now. If they sound a lot better I might get a couple more. I will just wait till they the hit store selfs.

Well so far I'm pretty sure that I'll get Fair Warning and OU812. If they sound good I may eventually get them all. First off I'm going to check prices and hope no one's charging $16+!

I'm going to listen FW first. I want to know if they have done something with the part at the beginning of "So This Is Love?" were the volume goes down (0:06-0:10).

MJPWolfgang, I was thinking that same thing about "So This is Love". The intro where the bass noticebly changes volume. That always annoyed me.

WesIsOnFire, Ou812 isn't being remastered as far as I know.

MJPWolfgang and Steely, I can 99.9% assure you that that bass on "So This Is Love" will remain as it is, as it has been since 1981 when Fair Warning first appeared on vinyl. Sorry 'bout that!

twec.com has the remasters available for preorder for only $8.88 each! I just order Fair Warning and DIver Down. CDNow raised their price by a $1 today.

fuck it im buying all of them... i can tell big time that my VH CD's dont have that sound quality of new Artist's material... but this will mean that i would have bought Vh Albums at least 4 times now
