Was DLR's appearance at the 96 VMA's a surprise!!??
When Dennis Miller introduced them, he said "3/4 of one of the greatest Rock and Roll bands ever"
I never really picked up on that one before.

It was kept a secret. People working behind the scenes at the VMA's had no idea Dave would arrive with them. They only knew about VH.
