Anyone own this? I bought it looking forward to the cover of Cabo Wabo. Sammy sings some weird version of it without ANY guitar and it TOTALLY ruins it! I think the rest of the DVD is really good though.

I got it as an early X-Mass present just the other day. I think it's really good. Though I agree with you: I was hoping for the original version of "Cabo Wabo"
One of my favorite songs from any VH era, and unfortunatly it's ruined somewhat IMO in this live version on this DVD.
Other that that I dig it.

I got it a few weeks ago, but haven't watched it yet. However, since I'm home alone all weekend, I know I SHOULD have a chance to finally view it.
BTW, I've got a pound of raw shrimp in the fridge. How long 'til it goes bad. It's about a week old.

Achievements:
Saw the Ten 13 tour, he did the Cabo Wabo thing with the drums and an occasional chord. Didn't like it. Looking forward to putting my hands on the DVD soon. Glad to hear it's good. That show may have been the best I've ever seen for pure fun. Small theater, straight ahead rock and roll, and chicks in bikinis serving drinks.

The DVD is great! I was at the show that this was taped at. You can sorta see me in it. Not really but I know its me by where I was sitting. Anyways, The funky CABO WABO chant totally pissed me off and made me leave the show saying "HUhhh?"

Man, reading all these good reviews makes me want that DVD so bad. But I haven't seen it in any stores in my area.
Maybe I'll have to order it from Amazon instead.

I agree with the sentiment about the Cabo Wabo on the DVD. Before that song came on, I was real impressed with the energy and sound of the show. They ended the show with "MTM" and everyone was rockin'...even the babes bumpin' & grindin' with Sammy on stage!
HOWEVER, when Cabo Wabo started and continued...I was aghast! It was horrible...it felt to me like the whole audience was like "what just happened?"
