Ya know, I dont know how everyone else feels but Van Halen is my favorite band of all time. Why is it that this crisis is happening to us VH fans?? Why couldn't it be something else or another band going through these trials and tribulations? To me, its like rooting for that team that never ever wins, and then you give up on them. I live for Van Halen. Not a day goes by where I don't say the name Van Halen. The fact that we are in limbo is frustrating. We will never see a Beatles reunion...John is dead. Come on Eddie, Al, Mike...Dave?? Get on the damn TV and talk to us...YOUR FANS...Throw us a bone. We want to hear you speak candidly about the band situation. Good or bad news...we need to hear it FROM YOUR MOUTHS!!! At least give us one of those 3 songs recorded with Dave to keep us happy. I don't know. This is getting old. i totally agree with you. we have been in the dark long enough. if dave isn't coming back atleast tell us so we can quite waiting for it. we have waited since november 5 1999 for some announcement on the status of the band. how much longer must we wait? [img]smilies/mad.gif[/img]
everday more people give up on the band an as long as the silence continues that will too. if they wait much longer not many people are going to care what they have to say. that's just sad. [img]smilies/cry.gif[/img]

You know, back on April 20th when they released the non-answer answer to DLR's comments people jumped all over them. But they missed a huge point in there.

"We're aware of all the rumors, and rumors are just that."

Let's pick this apart.

We're aware of all the rumors
So obviously they know that everyone has been pumped for DLR and spreading DLR is back rumors.

and rumors are just that
Meaning don't buy into them because they're only rumors, not facts.

Hell, we got our answer months ago, we just weren't listening.
