move this to the rumor mill if you d like but i thought it d get more exposure here...anyway, i went down to my local music store tonight to get some strings for my guitars . as im looking at the new wolfgangs they ve gotten in i hear the owner of the store talkin to a customer about something being "striped" by eddie van halen.i walked over and asked "ed s striping some wolfgangs?" he says "yeah eddie will be personally striping and signing about 100 to 150 wolfgangs and they should be coming out in a few months". i asked "how much?" he said "between 7500.00 and 9000.00".i asked "who told you?" he said a few days ago his peavey rep told him in case he wanted one..i asked "he tell you anything else"? he said "ohh yeah you would nt beleive what the peavey reps tell me"....he says "did you know they ve finished a album with dave and will be going on tour"? i said "yeah, the peavey rep told you"? he said yeah. but he hadnt heard of a release date from them.....anyway take it for what it s worth...apparently the guys at peavey just cant keep quiet anymore

Damn, that is some serious money for a guitar. And with it only being 150 or so, those things would be bought and paid for by musicians and collectors before they're even striped.
