If you're out in public and you're looking for Van Halen fans, you should just shout out the phrase "no news is good news". The person who punches you in the nose is probably a Van Halen fan.

i don't know about that 'no news is good news' crap... i mean, it may actually be good news, because of dave not talking, etc., etc... but, MOST bands announce their immediate plans to their fans (either good or bad news)... if a band is breaking up, most bands will announce it... if they announce a reunion, they'll announce it (ala. KISS cerca. 1996)... however, havin' said that, that makes me wonder if the theory proposed that eddie doesnt want to announce something and it spoil (for the fans) is legit... but still he should say something like, "right now, we're trying to work with dave, but don't get your hopes too high"... IMHO... of course...
