SAMMY'S NEW JOB ?

This might get moved but this is intersisting.i live in the bay area san jose. in the local paper it was mentioned that 2 local dj have left the station KSJO. these guy's are howard stern want a be's . anyway they left to go work for a station in san francisco ksan. in the article KSJO will be looking for new dj's in the morining. KSJO might try sammy haggar out as a dj. got a good laugh out of the article. sammy as a dj ??? never would have thought that would happen...

I SERIOUSLY doubt Sam would ever want to get tied down as a dj. BUT! Ya never know.

Here in Detroit, back in '97 WRIF tried real hard to get David Lee Roth to do the morning show. Rumor had it that he wanted too much cash and he wanted them to build a studio in his home so he do the show from there.

Also, Ted Nugent did a very successful local morning show a few years back. At the time the station was called...what else? The Bear!

I can't see Roth or Hagar getting up at 4:00am to do an actual morning show. That's one thing I'll credit Nugent with. Since he doesn't get drunk or stoned, getting up was no problem for him.

I can just see Dave, with a studio in his house, with some producer trying to wake him up... HA! Of course DLR would have to have a producer who's a midget.

actually Dave does get up early in the morning

I don't know if he gets up at 4, but I think I remember reading that he gets up sometime around 5 or 6 [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

Peter Wolf was a VERY succesful DJ here in Boston at WBCN back in the 70's.

i dont know how often he gets up early but back in 1994 when i was in film school in NYC i ran into dave on the street at 8AM. he was just strolling along...not on his way home either. just out for a morning stroll.

Oh yeah, I can see a guy in his mid-50's, getting up earlier then he ever did in his life, to be a DJ. Would the show be sponsored by Cabo Wabo Tequila?
