Kevin Dugan

Just a little inconsequential tidbit here.

Some of you may recognize the name Kevin Dugan. You know, Mikey's bass tech.

I was just surfing around on Crewpro, which is a small road crew staffing site, and I found Kevin's profile listed!

If you go here http://www.crewpro.com/webdata/crew_form.html
and search for Kevin under first and Dugan under last name, you'll find him.

Under the details in his profile, under Date Available, it says 1/10/2000.

I wonder if he's still with the band?

Cool link, LS! Interestingly, Rob Kern is the co-founder of the site and has been involved with Van Halen touring in the past. He is listed as being available after 10/15/2001. So...it doesn't look like Van Halen is going to launch a surprise tour anytime soon.

It's a shame we have to resort to looking up roadie bookings, court filings, and ASCAP listings to get any REAL info about the band. Wouldn't it be great if the Van Halen official web site were something more than just a history book?

Agreed. The official site is about as boring as a history book, too. But it's a credit to VH that their fans still care enough to continue keeping up such a variety of great fan sites!

As far as ripping on the Dome goes: I wish that all VH fans could have one place to hang out, but it just can't work. Nobody can please everyone all the time. By the same token, no one message board can please all fans. If all the posters on the Dome came over to Forums, I'm afraid would have one huge MESS, no matter how well this site is run. So it's a good thing that the Dome exists, IMHO.
