This was posted on the Atomic Punks message board, it was kind of funny, so I'm putting it here.

Look at this article from a Russian web site.

They show a picture of Sam and what they think is Dave, and it's actually a picture of Ralph from the Punks. I assume this is a story on the tour, maybe if someone can translate Russian maybe it says something about how young DLR looks. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Actually looking again, I don't think it's Russian, I don't know what it is.

I gave it a try, don't know what the fuck kind of language that is. It looks kind of like the McD's menu I saw at the Istambul airport one time. Maybeb it is Turkish.

It's a .UA, so it's a Ukraine based website; but fucked if I know whether it's Ukrainian or not [img]smile.gif[/img] . It might well be, as Brett suggests, Russian language based; people from the Urals often speak a few languages - Russian being a common denominator.

It's funny to me that the all-powerful, god of all that is rock n' roll was mistaken for the frontman of a VH tribute band. Hmmm, well, I guess that is what Dave is now so they weren't completely wrong. Granted this is a foreign source and their research is obviously lacking but that is just funny to me. Instead of the 'diamond one' I guess they included 'cubic zirconian' one (no offense to Ralph intended).
