It's VERY hard to not be skeptical about what comes out of the VH camp the last few years.

saying things like "split was mutual" "no big deal" and "change labels" can very well be taken as 'spin'

like when a band doesn't have a record deal and nothing is going on, they won't come out and say "nobody will give us a record deal" they will say "we're talking to a couple of labels and are weighing our options"

perception is reality.

I don't know, maybe I'm just letting certain desires get the better of me, but I believe this guy in the sense that I believe in 2 to 3 weeks we'll get some info out of the band. They've been making far too many business moves lately to not being ready to do SOMETHING. Whether its close up shop, making an announcement about a new album, or announce their new singer, I think something is going to happen soon. The bullshit-o-meter isn't swinging very highly with me with this guy for some reason, and even if he doesn't have any real inside info, it's about the right timeline for VH to announce something if they plan on doing ANYTHING this year.
I don't believe VH plans on closing up shop. And I'll use Pink Floyd as an example. Pink Floyd won't ever release an album with new material on it ever again. Everyone knows that. But, they aren't dumb, they still want to make money, so, what do they do? They release tons and tons of "Greatest hits" packages and "live albums", etc. IF VH didn't have any immediate plans on making a new album with new material, or at least was TRYING to make a new album, we'd see a BOV 2, and a live album, etc. etc. We may not be close to hearing VH play live or VH's new album anything soon, but I do believe we'll hear something from them soon, if an official announcement through P Braddy.

The band is very excited about going back out on the road,they know its been too long.I was told there isnt as much new music recorded with EDDIE,ALEX,and MIKEY as the rumors were.There is new music,just not in finished form.

If someone related to VH was spewing off secret, inside info to someone outside the family or organization, and they in turn come here, spew secretive inside information, but refuse to divulge the source, wouldn't said source be able to figure out who was leaking the secret info? Therefore, remaining secretive about your source and vague in your information would be a foolish waste of time.

You guys bring up some great points and I would lying if I said that I did not want to see VH get back together. What pisses me off is that we have been loyal fans since the beginning and we, as fans, are not getting the respect returned. Since DLR departed, we have been in the dark. To this day, we haven't been told the truth about the DLR departure or when Sammy departed. It is all about respect and loyalty.

I am mean, shit, we hear more from Golf Digest about the band than from VH's Website. For the past year, all I have seen on VH's site is a few Today in History blurbs. Damn, they haven't updated the news in what, 3 months and the WB situation wasn't news worthy?!?! Someone in the VH camp is assbackwards and needs to work on their social skills. I want some communication from the band. Fuck, we deserve it.

I am a HUGE VH fan and have been for many years, but since Sammy was booted I have felt more like an unsatisfied customer.
