Nothing completely new from this interview, but, still a good one...

"Early this year" - regarding an announcement.

"This fall" - possible tour.

"Working on new material" - new CD.

I'm surpised no one has dug that interview up previously.

I wonder what Mike and the boys consider "early in the year?" Hopefully by no later than March. Oh wow!

March is only two days away. And since announcements seem to be made on a Tuesday, maybe the 6th of March is the announcement date?

This is my first post in a looonggggg time.
Did anyone notice in the interview that Mike said a "full studio album" was what they were working on "otherwise people might think we are rehashing old material" (or something like that) for the sake of touring?
To me that's as good as saying "Yep Dave IS back in the
band and we are doing a full new record because we don't want to be considered a

reunion/nostalgia tour!!"

That's one way to interpret it I suppose......We'll see.

It's cool to see Mike interacting with his daughter. That's the kind of thing that's rare to see, and clearly they have a good relationship.

"Early this year". Hmmm, according to my watch, we're almost past early this year.

Why is everybody using these fucking asx files now? What happened to good old real media or mpeg format? There are so many cool things I can't see 'cause my computer refuses to play asx files!

Go to microsoft and download the latest version of media player RD, that should fix ya problem

Bear in mind its big and bloated now, and takes a while to actually work... typical MS overkill... So maybe you'll be better without it
