Stern knows nothing. Think about it... if you were trying to keep something quiet why in the hell would you tell Howard Stern??

Everyone always say's how Dave and Howard are such good friends blah blah blah and that Howard is in the know. I doubt this, my guess is they are friends on the air but dont hang out at all off the air.

Howard is funny as hell and I enjoy his show but his job is to get ratings and sell the show, create buzz.

Well, if Howard did utter such remarks then he could be trying to get the Van Halen camp to speak their mind NOW ! In a way, he could be trying help Dave out by pressuring Edward to say something about the current singer status, that we know anyhow! Who knows! Just Howard babling on........

in the year 2000 they put out one new single "Expo2000".when asked, when will the new CD come out:"Definitaley in this century!"

well, VH seems to have the same strategy.
so, guys, just be patient for another, say 5-6 years?

he loves vh. last week they were talking about the lady who co-wrote "happy trails" and howard made some comment referring to vh. so they're on his mind. he's a big promoter of the band. hell, 2 vh songs were on the soundtrack to his movie.

having said that, i don't know if he knows anyhthing more than we do about the situation unless he has talked to dave recently. we've all heard his interviews with sammy and ed and we know that they didn't go over too well......particularly the one with ed during the release of III.
