INSIDE. . .anyone got it?

I thought I read that the new Inside had shipped several weks ago. My local Barnes & Noble (where I usually pick it up) still doesn't have it. Do any of you guys have the new issue?

I thought someone said it was supposed to come around new years.

Forget about VH's next move, how about the fact that we pay to get a new magazine every 3 months and we're lucky to get one each year. Personally, I think the INSIDE should give everyone who has a subscription an extra issue free for this laziness they've shown.

Again, (for the millionth time) there are hundreds of things they could be writing about between VH projects.

I've heard we're supposed to get it sometime around February.

I called their info hotline last night and it had not been updated since Nov. 6.

My OPINION is that even though they're not officially affiliated with VH anymore, they probably know what's going on at 5150. Therefore the next issue delivery will be shortly after an official announcement from VH.

But they certainly could have put an issue out in the meantime.

They could also at least make it thicker. I think I've written English essays longer than that. They have enough stuff to make a thousand-page issue every month for a year!

I guess I should have gone back and found the post from about three weeks ago, but it essentially said that he called the Inside and they told him that the new issue featured Van Halen 1978-80 and was their biggest issue to date. . .48 pages. They told him that it had actually shipped that day they were talking to him. I checked Barnes & Noble's computer and they received an issue last year on Dec. 17, 1999, so, I'm thinking we should have it any day now.

Which issue was the last? I ordered a subscription in August and haven't gotten one since, excepting the two I got right away(one had a big RWB question mark, the other had a picture of the band where DLR had a VH shirt on and Eddie had a striped guitar in wierd colors and mounting rings on the pickups). They better send one soon or I'm calling Mr. Unabomber.

Yep Jeff does a great job with the mag, but they can be a bit slow with each issue. They have a cool gig no doubt, but I'd bet that they do what they can. Slow yes, cool ass mag, yes as well. Hey hurry the hell up, the natives are getting restless. LOL. Out.
