Van Halen on local News

Woooo yah Van Halen on the local news here in Cleveland...first time i have seen that actually with all the rumors these past few months

Fox 8 News here Cleveland reported that DLR was back with Van Halen...stating basically all the other stuff we know about.

I just thought it was kind of cool...first time i actually saw a "news" source on television report on the DLR/VH reunion

any other North East Ohioans see this?

I was just saying to myself today that it has got to be close, because I have been hearing a lot of old VH on radio stations around here that hardly ever play VH. Just today I heard Mean Street on WAAF in Boston. They never play VH anymore and if they do they play something off VH1. Oh Yeah!, it's definately getting close!

Weeelll, ya know if a Cleveland TV station is getting in on the act it must be legit and the wait must be coming to an end. Cleveland is the home of Rock'N'Roll, of course they would have the inside scoop.

Cleveland by the way would be a great place for them to make THE announcement. They could do it right out in front of the R'N'R Hall of Fame. Then afterwards, that night, they could hit all the hot spots in the Flats(maybe do a impromtu jam) , Ed and Alex of course would be drinking Shirley Temples only, to promote their reunion and upcoming release and tour. Then the next day they could do the National Anthem at an Indians game and then afterwards the mayor would give them the key to the city. All of this would be a rousing success and the city would then declare, put whatever date you think best, as the official Van Halen day in Cleveland. Damn, that sounds just about perfect!
