Eddie and the boys had better come get it together and either hire back Dave, or Sammy, cause one more stinker like VH3, and its lights out VH. Sorry, I love the band, but, when I want someone to leave the room, I put on that CD and play, "How may say I" They ususally get the point and get out fast.

Welcome aboard, TabascoBass31. I agree. It's got to be either Dave or Sammy.

Ha! Good one Tabasco. Yeah, VH3 put the stink in a litter box for sure.

Ahh ... so true, but where are the flowers? We've had almost 5 years of fertilizer (going back to the '96 debacle). Hell, we'd better get the freakin' Garden of Eden for this!
"One of the reasons I left Sabbath was because Van Halen was blowing us off the stage every night. It was embarrassing." -Ozzy Osbourne
"When I first heard "Runnin' With The Devil" on the radio, I was stunned and found myself dizzy, walking through my high school hallways thinking, "What was THAT?!"
Eddie Van Halen was so innovative and kicked so much ass, and David Lee Roth was for a time indisputably the Greatest Man in America.
If aliens came down and challenged us to a Battle of the Bands to decide the fate of Planet Earth, I would feel very confident putting early Van Halen forward as our champion." -Tom Morello
"There is no heir to the throne of Eddie Van Halen. Nobody sits on that throne. Nobody takes that throne. Here's why it's different with Eddie: when a great guitar player passes, you just move on to another, right? But in this case, Eddie wasn't just a 'guitar player'. We're talking about a guy who changed culture and how we play guitar. He was like an alien coming in and fucking everything up so much that even the legends beforehand are like, 'Okay .. what is happening here? What sorcery is this?'" -Nuno Bettencourt

Take "How Many Say I" and remove Ed and Gary and expand the arrangement a little more and it could fit on a Billy Joel or Elton John album.
Actually I think most of us are Dave, Sam, and Mike fans. There's just a small group of people who have strange allegiances and like to get into petty pissing contests that I can't believe everyone on this site isn't bored of. - Brett

A little zen....... Headed your way.......
Bro, that's awesome you mention Nuno's style is like Brian May. I'm sure thats who he listened to growing up and when VH came along it really solidified his future ambitions on guitar. Edited to add:...
