please, dont call this a reunion...remember van halen has toured for the last 22yrs...saying reunion makes me sick...just refer to dave..some of u people make van-halen seem like their in their 90's..

How can it not be a reunion? This band hasn't existed since April 1, 1985 except for a few weeks in 1996. What else would you call it?

Ressurection might be appropriate, since we all had reason to believe Van HALEN was dead after the 96 fiasco, and sure as hell weren't given reason to believe otherwise in 1998.

I'd call it a reunion. What else is it? An estranged band member is joining his former bandmates again. Reunion isn't a bad thing.
