as I was searching for VH "Van Halen and David Lee Roth- Independence Day (bootleg)" This is a supposed title for a new release right? I tried to download but a bad connection cut it off. Has anyone seen or heard this? I don't remember seeing a topic on this. More bs or what?

Yeah it's BS. They are acouple more out there too. Be wary of "Mr. T's Gold". Although I have not seen that one in awhile.

Yep, I saw that and tried to down load it also. I knew it was bs but wanted to hear what was on it. It would not down load for me either. People who create these hoaxes seem to go to extreme measures to create rumors. It must give them some sort of perverted sense of power...

Well on Napster I came across an interview with a woman interviewing Eddie and he plays "Crossroads" and it is pisser!! Sooooo good! That guys knob makes the titanic look like a micro machine

I found it awhile back, downloaded it and listened to it and it wasn't bs, it was an early "club" song by the way it sounded. It was just mislabled I think, no where in it the lyrics did it even say Independence Day. I think someone was just fucking with us.

I downloaded that song too. It is an old "club days" song called "Here's Just What You Wanted." I heard the song a while ago on a bootleg tape a buddy of mine gave me. It's from New Year's Eve '76 or '77. It's a kick ass song, that I think would have rocked if they ever released it on an album.
