I'm not a real big fan of either song, but I guess I'd go with Amsterdam.
"One of the reasons I left Sabbath was because Van Halen was blowing us off the stage every night. It was embarrassing." -Ozzy Osbourne

"When I first heard "Runnin' With The Devil" on the radio, I was stunned and found myself dizzy, walking through my high school hallways thinking, "What was THAT?!"
Eddie Van Halen was so innovative and kicked so much ass, and David Lee Roth was for a time indisputably the Greatest Man in America.
If aliens came down and challenged us to a Battle of the Bands to decide the fate of Planet Earth, I would feel very confident putting early Van Halen forward as our champion." -Tom Morello

"There is no heir to the throne of Eddie Van Halen. Nobody sits on that throne. Nobody takes that throne. Here's why it's different with Eddie: when a great guitar player passes, you just move on to another, right? But in this case, Eddie wasn't just a 'guitar player'. We're talking about a guy who changed culture and how we play guitar. He was like an alien coming in and fucking everything up so much that even the legends beforehand are like, 'Okay .. what is happening here? What sorcery is this?'" -Nuno Bettencourt

Without a doubt . . . RUNAROUND! It is an all-time favorite! I actually think this song appeals more to women. (Besides, I can't figure out if Amesterdam means the place, a kind of pot, or what?)

Gonna go with Runaround here. Tough call, arguably my least favorite songs from F.U.C.K. and Balance.

For me, this is a tough call. Runaround is one of the best songs on FUCK, but I really like Eddie's guitar tone on Amsterdam. Overall, I'd say Amsterdam.

I like the music to "Amsterdam" but the lyrics ruin it for me. I actually like "Runaround" although it's kinda poppy.

Like em both alot, to bad Amsterdam gets dogged so much. I love that song. Everyone who I have spoken to that has gone there says the lyrics fit the city.
I'll go with Amsterdam by a nose.

Runaround by a hair. I think the version of Amsterdam on the PPV show. Ed's solos are just the best, as are the Runaround one. Love them both, but Runaround by a hair.

They are talking about the city Amsterdam in the song, pot is legal there.

I also vote Runaround, it's a close call though, I love both songs.

The Amsterdam video is awesome btw, I wish it was on the Best Of videos.
Right Now you're reading my post!
