Wow, I can't believe finally all the legalities have cleared for the new tequila bottle. No
more old bottles. As of May 14,000 cases of new bottles to be filled with that wonderful
liquid to be shipped any day now. The Anejo has now been aged 3 years. WOW! The
most unbelievable tequila I have ever tasted. The Reposado and Blanco will remain the
same fine tequila in a new bottle.

It could take as long as a month or 2 before it appears on shelves but collectors are
already snatching up the old bottles. Red Heads beware the old bottles will go up in value
as they deplete. Thanks to all the Red Heads for the sales of 1 million old bottles! Time
for a new cover, ha, ha.

P.S.S. Cabo Wabo will be at every venue that I play at during the Sam & Dave Tour that
allows tequila to be sold.

hey, at least sam can USE the conditioner. not all of the van halen singers are as follicly gifted as young samuel.

I absolutely love the tequila and see no problem with him selling it at his concerts. Anything with the name CABO is synonamous with Sammy in my opinion. Although, the song sounds so much better with VH playing it.

100% agave is very very expensive... but once you have it, you never go back.

I have about 10 of the old bottles at $45 each.

I have never recieved a headache with this stuff, it is unbelievable. makes quervo gold taste like crap.

Sammy has done a great service to the margarita drinkers of the world, and I hate hearing people knock him for this. This is a product of love and I for one will continue to get as fucked up as possible on CW no mattter how rich it makes him.

Sammy's tequilla is the best i've had, but I'm far from an expert. I had to stop drinking tequilla for 5 or 6 years and when Cabo first came out a friend ordered a bottle for me for my birthday. You couldn't get it in NC at the time. The bottle came the day before my birthday--- broken. My friend called the place he ordered it from and told them it was broken and I was a fan and he wanted to have it for my birthday. The guy fedEx another bottle that arrived in time for the party-- no additonal charge. You can now buy it in the state run ABC 'package' stores. Why my state is in the drug dealing business is beyond me but then again many states run gambling (lottery). Funny how they can deal drugs and set up gambling but no one else can?

Anyway, as for the song... One of my favorites but only the version on OU812 is worth a shit. I've seen Sammy do it solo live and on the 'Birthday Bash' DVD and both sucked as did the RHRN version.

Cabo Wabo is definitely a great song on OU812. Ed's solo is very smooth on it too.

Anyway, I look forward to trying out Sam's tequilla. I'm not into tequilla much. I've done some body shots with the woman, but that was like almost two years ago, and I wasn't tasting much tequilla if ya know what I mean.....
