Hehehe yes i agree with you bigDaddy 14, with Term Papers making my life miserable coming here and seeing posts that say VH is done kind of sucks.
I agree with Eddymon in another thread...if Eddie wasn't doing well Val would not be working on Touched By an Angel, and just because he looked bad in one picture doesnt mean he is doing badly...shit if you take a pic of me at 8am, i look like creeping death...he may have looked a little emaciated but come on he is battling/and beating cancer, give the guy a break...

so um....anyone know any good websites that deal with Life Expectancy in Sub-Saharan Africa?...writers block

Alright folks here it comes. Ive been trying to hold this off for as long as possible, but with final exams bearing down on me, i cant hold out any longer. Its time to bitch. First of all, lets get one thing straight here folks. Edward Van Halen is BEATING cancer. OK??? I am so sick and tired of posts saying things like "man he look bad in that picture" and "this prolly means no album now" and "golly darn ed looks worse than ive ever seen him." Hey folks, lets LIGHTEN THE MOOD HERE. I can almost guarantee you that IF Edward was going to die soon, he would not make a statement that said "i will be cancer free in the future." Making judgments about Ed's health based on pictures doesnt do a thing. We need to TRUST EDWARD if he says he is doing ok. Having a morbid attituted toward this isnt going to do anything but make everyone, including myself, feel really bad. I hate that this has happened/is happening to Ed. This guy is my hero. Christ, if he died, i dont know if i could live. Basically what im trying to get across is this: If Edward wasn't doing well, he wouldnt say that he was. We dont know how or if this will effect an album production, so its really pointless to say things like "this is probably the last of Van Halen folks." I, just like everyone else, want Edward to get well as soon as possible. But please, again, lets stay positive. I get nothing but good vibes outta what Ed has said lately. I personally feel that the future is bright for Van Halen. Ed is a warrior, he's gonna win. So in closing, just let me say, Im sorry to have to rant, but i needed to get this off of my chest. Lets all stay positive, b/c Ed is on the road to recovery.

Big Daddy- You need to get a life, I also wish Eddie the Best I hope he has a full recovery, I'd be sad if anything bad happened, however I would be able to go on and live my life just fine if anything bad happened. This is not a family member or a loved one. We're talking about a Rock star here,whom "all-be-it true" has given us some great music. But not wanting to live if something bad happens....Get a grip Dude!

let's let this fella have his own emotions eh? not right to tell someone how to feel. i personally have had cancer take relatives and three parents of *very* close friends, including my gf's dad three years ago. when ed was announcing he was getting better, and when the rumors came out last may, i cried because cancer, unfortunately, has affected my life as well.

i'm not sure big daddy would jump off a cliff if something would (god forbid) happen to ed, but he is entitled to feel a certain way about ed if he wants.

i don't know ed from adam so to speak, but he has made enough of a change and impact in my life where i feel as though i want to keep him around as long as i can [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

ed is a cool dude bro, very family oriented. yes he is a rockstar, but he is a human like the rest of us. and if the disease did get the best of him, people like myself, big daddy, and others would be sad and carry it with them for quite a long time because that is just how we feel bro [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

if eddie passed on and you could go on with your life with no problems, more power to ya man. but it would hang with some of us longer, and that's the way we are.
