I was flipping thru the channels a minute ago literally and saw Dave and Ed and the caption simply said "Touring together..." Did anyone else see this and what did they say about it. It was an older VH video, but prime time.
It is now 6:53 pm Central time...Sunday August 4th...Someone!!!!!!!!

yea my buddy called me up and told me to watch CNN because they mentioned it. i've got it on and am waiting to see what its about. actually i thought my friend was fucking with me, but apparently its true. maybe they mixed up the footage and meant to give some news on the sam and dave tour. guess ill wait and see. i doubt its dave and ed. it just doesntmake any sense to me. lol.

I just saw a stock footage clip of Dave and Eddie on CNN and the caption said something to the effect of them reuniting. I saw it at 7:30pm central time.
This is getting interesting...

It's kinda sad that the newest stock footage of DLR they have is almost 20 years old.

The actual footage of Sam and Dave together was at their press conference too. They both spoke very amicably of each other, so this obivously wasn't even a new Sam and Dave interview. They did rock out Jump was the newscasts changed over.

Seems kind of odd to me that CNN is making this a feature story right now - I mean, the tour was announced in April, and has been in progress for over two months now.

Why focus on it now, especially with reports of it about to blow up at any minute? They show footage of the amicable news conference, and we all know damn well that the your is anything but amicable at this point, after the latest interviews with Sam.

Perhaps - and this purely specualtion on my part - the rumors of this tour being a breaking-in for the two singers to feel each other out ofr a possible hall of fame appearance together has just a little bit of credibility to them. Who knows? We're getting awfully damn close to VH's eligibility for the Hall. Personally , I don't see this tour lasting much longer, much less a reunion with both singers together for a tour being likely. The timing of this spot on national news seems a little odd to me, though.

Wolfman: You have to remember that those guys played in Atlanta last night. CNN is headquartered in Atlanta, as well. Could be that they just ran a quick report because it was right in front of them and they had some airtime to fill.

Besides, it's not like they're *just* getting around to it. They did report on the press conference when it happened...
