I remember about '85...I was listening to the new VH w/sam....I was wishin' that dave never left. Sam was great, but I couldn't help but listen to a song like "Summer Nights" and think about what Dave would have done lyric-wise with that music.

If there was music from the dave era that sam might have done some good things with either ???? Something like "In a simple rhyme", I could see sam working well with that song. It always got my mind clickin' to envision a "dave" song, having "sam" put lyrics to it & vice versa, just to see what would've been different.

Any other thoughts in either direction from anybody ????

Listen to Take Me Back (Deja Vu). There's your answer.
