I was at home doing some housework and jammin some Journey, next disc, VH Fairwarning... I thought "Hey why not Steve Perry"? IMO- Seeing Steve jam with the boys would be almost as good as seeing them jam with Dave again and IMO- even better than seeing them with Sam again. NOT that I dont love Sammy, just that him coming back isnt such a big deal since it really doesn't feel like he's been gone all that long. I know Ed is working some things through, but I say... Eddie, call Steve!

I like Journey, and Steve Perry has an incredible voice, but most fans would not only want to hear the new stuff..but they would want some old stuff to. Perry singing.."How do I know when it's love"...YES....Perry singing "reach down between my legs..and ease the seat back"..uh..NO!

I'd still like to hear some oldies from the Roth era and would prefer a voice that could handle
all of VH's material. Nice thoughts though Fab."It's now officially 5150 time!!!"

Didn't Eddie used to brag in interviews that when they first toured and opened up for Journey that he made Steve Perry cry? What was that all about? Did he beat Perry's ass or bang his girlfriend or what?

The VH bros were not allowed to do sound checks or rehearse and stuff, so they used to play alot of practical jokes on Journey, like untuning their instruments and unplugging them as stuff. Apparently Steve and the guys did not see the hunor in it...

Gotta admit, he'd sing the ballads better than Sam.But I don't wanna hear him sing Unchained.
