Just saw the video for the first time last night on VH1, I'm glad Sam stuck the pic of him and VH in there. I got shivers down my spine when I heard the pick slide, lol. Almost felt like Van Halen for a second. His voice is a helluva lot better than Dave's right now. I read somewhere that either Alex or Mike were saying the next VH record would go back to an earlier sound (regardless of singer?). I say Sam and VH get back together.

Dave does solo tour after solo tour after solo tour playing VH material almost exclusively and you're upset that Sam put a picture of VH in a solo video? Starts out with Sammy on the beach and has some footage from the Sam and Dave tour, his birthday bash (I think), and his wife is in the video too. There's also a pic from Montrose shown, so they just put up some pics from his music history.

The pic of VH in his video goes with the theme, "things have changed". He was in that band for 10 years. That fact can't be ignored. He could have left it out but I think he would like to reconcile with his old friends.

Wow ! Sam is really trying everything, huh ! I wonder if he remembers that there was a very bitter parting of ways between him and the brothers, and that for the next twelve months he told every interviewer what pieces of shit Van Halen were, and that he had done no wrong. Much in the same way he is talking about Dave now.
I guess he is banking on a certain persons drinking to have erased these events. Gotta give him 10/10 for trying !
