Edward-if you got balls of steel, here's what you do:
Show up to the Aladdin in Vegas, unannounced. If you think you can walk through without gettin mobbed, you take a guitar, strap it on your shoulder, walk through the place from front door to the stage.............Up on stage, make a "thing" of it, ya know "hey Brian.....I'm pluggin in...." ...PLAY SOME TUNES!!!!!!! [img]graemlins/scared.gif[/img] and don't piss it out, play like it's your last time....RIP 'em out!!!! Just for a moment, lose yourself and just let it flow through you, don't concentrate on the politics of the moment, just let it happen. Then the next day, tell the interviewers, that will call your publicist by the dozens, that the truth is you are moving on, doing a new direction, but wanted to do a "one-nite-only" for your fans....no lawyers....no politics.....just one night of raucous fun.....a tip of the hat....a salute, if you will......say "I can't go backward, but I can't ignore history or my fans" The publicity would be HUGE, and the momentum would carry into whatever you do next. Don't record a new song, no studio nothin' with him. JUST PLAY-ONE FUCKING HOUR OF YOUR LIFE-To Put a lid on the past, go out PROPERLY with no regrets, and much volume [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

i'd like to see it happen on new year's eve or something like that- one GREAT big benefit concert in NYC- one last bang to satisfy all the other crazy fans like myself- and then move on- get another singer or something... a least i would have gotten' my fix...

but again- in my best impression of jerry seinfeld- "i tell ya', i don't see it happening..."
