Here is what I wrote-
Can you tell me what is the specific reason for why the Dome was shutdown? Was it your decision or was it Eddie VanHalen? Is the Dome never to re-open until they get a singer? Is the band ever going to return at least by summer of 2003? I think you should tell Eddie that he needs to addresss these things very soon with another measage. The last measage was cool of him to post, But if he leaves the fans in the dark for another year it is just unclassy and VH will lose all it's fan support. If it is at all possible please ask Eddie to address these things to the site as soon as possible.

I was hoping he would give out a reason to why he shut the Dome down because Starks never gave a reason as to why it was closed down in the first place. This is info he can give us but chose not to.

Well, in case Brad does not give you an answer, here's my opinion: The Dome was shut down because of the shit that hit the fan over the Michael Anthony / "Rolsguitars" debacle in Arizona. The media picked-up on it. Radio stations and other media outlets were reporting what Rol posted here; that Michael told him that Dave was the singer in VH, etc., etc.

That is probably it and the sad thing is all Eddie has to do is say they still don't have a singer and just level with us. Michael Anthony said on the Mark and Brian show that they all have to sit down and settle their differences with whoever they are considering. Why doesn't Eddie post another measage saying this. I don't understand this crazy ass band anymore!

It is funny how Brad Starks will answer the email I wrote asking him about that Rock 97 VH broadcast last week. Within a couple of hours but when you ask him another easy question he ignores you. IMHO the Dome will never return. Furthermore, they're just going to be a bunch of pansy-ass cowards about it and never admit that it's shut down because the band is OVER.

Does it matter why the Dome shutdown? Nope. The band found out that having a message board while pissing off your fans isn't a good combination. Everyone is better off without it, both the fans and the band.
