Have a listen!---> WRIF
"Keep honking buddy. I'm reloading..." -The Mard
"......HEY!.............alright............." -BIG FOOT
" I know what you're thinking: "Do I want to watch Mard? We know that horses were very strong and could actually stop airplanes from flying away. The ones made out of stone called "statues" -- occasionally came to life and rode off is a colonial cliche. How many more times do we need to hear about how the oppressive Raj's wore villainous black capes, crafted cunning plastic masks to impersonate people, and drained all the blood from their slaves so they could keep the fluid in bottles in their dungeons? I mean, YAWN!
But if you're willing to sit through this dry sort of historical drama one more time -- or even just this dry historical review -- you will not be disappointed. In fact, some of you might just learn something they didn't teach you in school!- MARD-The Movie

I listened here in Dallas on the net. DAVE WAS AWESOME. Thanks for the post.
"Well, he's an intelligent, well-read guy. But it's like he can't connect the dots somehow." (EVH Guitar World, March 1998).
GP: "Did you use a pick for "Spanish Fly"?
EVH: "Yeah, except for the part near the end that sounds like Montoya or something."

Well, for the most part it was the exact same performance as the Tom & Brian show. Right down to the one liners. Plus he doesn't answer any of the questions he's asked. He tries to be funny and uses the same one-liners he used in all the other radio interviews. People called in, and he would try to turn thier question into a funny one liner then go into a song. Like he told a girl "You sound like a pretty woman"...grove into the intro of ""Pretty Woman""...tell everyone.. "hey doesn't Roy Orbinson look like that guy in K-PAX?"
I'm telling you...Same show as all the others. But that's okay, Dave is Dave and it's good to hear him out and about.
Oh! The cheese-ballad was more of a folksey type song. I'm sure someone here knows it. A song about " I'll be there. Chewing on a honey-sulkle vine." Pretty good, too! "Keep honking buddy. I'm reloading..." -The Mard

One thing he answered (they had to ask him twice) was if Sammy and he would do an encore together and he said "no".
Dave also was asked if Mike would join him and he said no but Mike was accompaning Sammy on tour and that Mike might join Sammy.
I'm still listening now, after Dave left, and he totally fucked them up. They said Dave just screwed everything up. They trying to get everything back in order! HA! "Keep honking buddy. I'm reloading..." -The Mard
