In '95 Our Lady Peace opened for VH. I had never heard even a garage band of 13 year olds sound so bad. It's the only time I had ever heard them, or OF them, but if that show was indicative of that band, they are by far the worst.

The only thing noteworthy about them was that the guitar player's hair changed color every 2 songs, and that they completely butchered a Beatles song, much to the dismay of the crowd. Those guys were boo-ed from the time they started til the time they quit. When they were done, people applauded the fact that they were through for the evening.

The singer even went so far as to make comments like "wow, you guys really fucking hate us" and "I'm sorry, we'll finish up our set and get the hell outta your way".

I hated baby Animals, and when my wife and I first started our band years ago, she wanted us to learn "Painless" by them. Thank God everybody hated it from the start. [img]smilies/tongue.gif[/img]

I also thought Autograph was cheesy, and wasn't crazy about Ed's little pet project, Private Life.

I can't remember most of the other ones I saw, which says a lot in itself. LOL

I do remember seeing Collective Soul, though. Great on record, but horrible in concert - they stood like a bunch of burnt-out statues. [img]smilies/sleep.gif[/img]

many disagree, but Monster Magnet just simply blew butt. My buddy and I were just laughin our ass off at them. It was the running joke for a while, that if somthing bad happened, you could say "hey, at least were not Monster Magnet!!" They got Zero response from the Portland crowd and the guitar player was just pissed at the end of the set. lol. Threw his shit down and stomped off.
