Gary got kicked out of Van Halen.
Since then....

I believe that Gary left Van Halen by his own choice. And I'll bet he's 1000 times happier for having done so. Personally, given the 2 years of nothing, and the fact that the wait doesn't seem to be getting any closer to ending, I really wish they'd been able to complete and release the follow-up to VH 3.
At this point, I'm not optomistic at all about where VH is heading, and I'm extremely frustrated with the way the last two years have been handled from a PR stand point. I don't think I'll ever be able to hear VH drone on about 'we love our fans' or 'VH fans are the greatest' without rolling my eyes ever again.

For some reason I can see plenty of rotten veggies being tossed at the stage next time Ed's on it. Dependant upon who's up there with him, of course.
When are the Atomic Punks going to record the next VH album?

I think the Atomic Punks have already finished the new VH record.I don't think that it will get released though because Ray Daniels is now managing them and wants 100% royalties and a 50% commission on all of the gigs that they have ever done and will ever do from here on out.He also wants an advance from them(Atomic Punks) on future successes that do not pertain to music at all.
Maybe he thinks that theses guys ARE Van Halen and he is just trying to sweeten the deal for them since things haven't gone to well after Sammy's departure?! "I Got Myself a Brand New Oakland Scarf right here I say"

Man, it has been a long time since I last posted on this site, it still surprises me the lack of news, I remember panicking when I took off into Africa back in January 2000 that news would come out about the new singer and I would miss out!
Well I have lived in England for 2 1/2 years, been to Africa, all through Europe, China, just got back from the Middle East and currently in New Zealand and still nothing!
Well on that sad note, there is still plenty of fantastic bands out there outside of the U.S both big and small worth your support such as Shihad from New Zealand or Powderfinger from Australia. Music like life moves on.

To hell with Van Halen. I don't give two shits what they do anymore. At least Dave is giving us hope. I'm going to the show on the 21st, which I'm sure is gonna kick-ass, and there's a reasonable chance that if VH can't get their shit together, Dave will move on and look to make a new solo record. That's fine with me; as far as I'm concerned a new Dave solo record would be great.
