Is this "The calm before the storm"???

Things have been strangely quiet since Michael Anthony's "comments" of late last year. Mikey never "officially" confirmed or denied anything. Then Brad shuts down the Dome for the holidays. And as we speak I am awaiting the next issue (#17/#18 combined) of The Inside which is due to arrive (finally) this month.

I am hopeful that the reason for the Dome being shut down "temporarily" is so that some of the negative vibes surrounding the band can die down before they make an "official" statement this month. Then when the Dome is re-opened it will be flooded with positive thoughts and anticipation regarding the immediate future. Furthermore wouldn't it be nice if The Inside was part of this scenario?

I know that after all this time this all extremely unlikely, but hey ya never know!

Boy...that sounds familiar.

I don't care about their site.

I don't care about their statements.

What I care about is their music, and we've gotten a big fat nothin'.

Now perhaps they are gonna get together...perhaps not. But wouldn't a simple, "Yes, Dave may be with the band." Or how about, "No, Dave won't be with the band." Or even, "We've contacted Dave, and there are some legal issues."

Anything...

We get nothing.

Do I think this is the calm before the storm? Don't much care. It's been a long ass calm though if it has.

As big a fan as I am, I don't get the band these days at all. Closing the Dome just confuses and agrivates things.

At least they could have put up a bullshit explaination.

I do think that the PD will open again - only when there is something to report with the band. There was just too much frustration welling up over there in the meantime.
