Eddie Van Halen is a marketing guru!! I cannot believe all of the hype over a potential booking. The silent treatment has driven demand to an all time high!! It is almost funny how much Damn Money Eddie is going to reap off of the HYPE!! In the end they will be just like the Who, Stones, and other bands that keep coming back for the $$$$!! Amazing!!

Well, on the other hand, WE create the "hype" dont we? Remember, they havn't said one word in over a year. Anything that is currently balled up, has been created not by him but by us. Carefull where you lay "blame".

Maybe I read that wrong, but it seems like you were dissing Eddie for taking advantage of "the buzz" created by the silence. I could be wrong.

Oh, wrong guy, sorry.

Really, of all of the VH members, Eddie seems like he would be the least aware and concerned with creating hype. Especially because the pressure of creating the music falls primarily on him, he's probably more focused on that.
