I find this topic unfit & disgusting

Hi , I am a new member and I have always lurked here to get any info on my favorite band .

I stumbled across a topic accusing the Van Halen's (Ed&Val) being unfit parents . Everyone is entitled to a opinion and my opinion is this , that topic is totally uncalled for and lame .

Just reading it and all the replys makes me feel ashamed . Can you just imagine what Ed and Valerie are thinking when they read that crap . What kind of people conjure crap like that ???

And to top that off , it's a so called hot topic . If this was my site , that topic would be yanked . Obviously someone has too much time on their hands to come up with crap like that .

So to Eddie and Valerie , not all people think that you guys are unfit parents . I won't even reply to that topic started by that idiot , I think it should be deleted , but that is just my 2 cents .

That topic was total crap and yes I started another topic about it just to get my point across .

Max84, it's really on everyone to produce quality topics. If you dislike that thread, frankly there's nothing you can do but ignore it. Your best bet is to start a quality topic of your own and hope it sparks member interest.

Welcome, aboard, Max. Unfortunately, there wil be threads like that every now and then. I think the reason there were so many responses is because it pushed a lot of people's buttons. Sadly, some of the longest-running threads are the most discomforting ones.

True Glenn . I have been reading posts here since about January . Just reading and enjoying most of the topics .

This site is ran good and everyone seems cool . I just read that topic last weekend and I couldn't believe my eyes [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img]

It really made me bummed out just seeing it here , left me feeling mad and sad .

The boards arent much different I dont think except negativity crept in a little. We have never been about censorship. Some things piss people off, some things make the topic starter look like an idiot, but thats life. [img]smilies/cool.gif[/img]

Like I said at the beginning of that thread, the best way to go is just to let threads you really, really dislike die. If people ignore them, for all intents and purposes they go away.
