And introducing the new Van Halen song... "Solvent"

Back in the spring of 1990, I was up in Tuscalossa visiting a buddy of mine. Anyway, we were at this party, and my buddy and another guy went to the store to get some more beer or something, and when they came back, they were all excited, because they had heard this new Van Halen song on the radio called "Solvent." I got all excited, and because this was in the days before the internet and VH links, I didn't really have a way to verify if this was true or not. I called Disc Jockeys and record stores for weeks afterwards, but they didn't know a thing. My friend swore up and down that he wasn't bullshitting me. Either my buddy was really tore up that night, or I was a big ole sucka. Oh well, I guess I can look back on it now as preparation for everything that's happened in 2000. Here's to less of the same in 2001.
